Exchange Selection Guidance
For US-based users: Coinbase Advanced or Kraken are recommended for regulatory clarity. Both offer strong API reliability and liquidity for major pairs.
For perpetual futures trading: Binance, Bybit, and OKX offer the deepest liquidity in BTC and ETH perpetuals. The choice between them typically comes down to your jurisdiction and fee tier.
For maximum liquidity: Binance offers the highest spot and futures liquidity for most pairs. This results in the tightest spreads and lowest execution costs.
Multi-Exchange Support
TRADEOS.tech supports connecting multiple exchanges simultaneously. This enables:
- Exchange diversification: split capital across exchanges to reduce counterparty risk
- Arbitrage opportunities: signals can be executed on the exchange with best current price
- Redundancy: if one exchange has connectivity issues, trading continues on others
Required API Permissions
Regardless of exchange, TRADEOS.tech requires:
- ✅ Read/View: balances, positions, orders, trade history
- ✅ Trade: place, modify, and cancel orders
- ❌ Withdraw: never required, never enable this
